Foster/White Gallery represents local, national and international artists. We are interested in all contemporary media including painting, printmaking, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, and photography.
The gallery welcomes submissions from artists seeking representation throughout the year. We do not accept exhibition proposals. We do not make appointments nor do we spontaneously view portfolios during gallery hours.
Due to the time it takes to process submissions received via mail, the gallery encourages email submissions. Subject line in the emails should read "Portfolio Submission"
OPTION A: Send Website Information (Preferred)
- Provide a link to your website/URL which contains images, contact information, artist curriculum vitae and artist statement.
OPTION B: Email Images
- Attach 4 to 6 titled jpeg images, each less than 100 KB.
- Please include the following information in the body of the email, or attached in .doc, .rtf or .PDF format:
- an image list which specifies titles, dates, media and the dimensions of each work.
- a curriculum vitae and artist statement
- contact information
The email should not exceed 1 MB.
OPTION C: Mail/Drop Off
- If sending via mail or dropping off in gallery, we will accept printed photographs of no more than 12-24 images along with image details, curriculum vitae and artist statement.
- Clearly label package "portfolio submission."
- CD-ROMs are acceptable, however, please ensure images are no larger than 300 KB each
- Bound submissions are not encouraged
- Provide a self addressed stamped envelope for the return of materials. Portfolios that do not include a self addressed stamped envelope will not be returned.
