Foster/White Gallery presents the last installation of our Elements series: Elements: Air. The collection features new and existing works by gallery artists. Some interpretations are literal, while others rely on abstracted or symbolic representations of the element. Taking inspiration from the natural world in their work, many artists gravitated towards depictions of birds in flight, flowing trees, and cloudy skies, selecting photography, painting, or sculpture as their media. Paintings by two new artists to the gallery, Eric Louie and Nicole Katsuras, join artworks by gallery artists in the last installment of the Elements series.
