GABRIEL JOHN POUCHER

Gabriel John Poucher received his BFA in Crafts with a focus on glass and ceramics from Kent State University in 2017, and is currently pursuing his MFA in Ceramic Art at Alfred University. His recent work is influenced by the decay of architectural structures and organic growth patterns, exploring the ways that complex systems are constructed and unraveled, through drawing and ceramic sculpture. His delight in childhood toys, models, and 'space junk' as nostalgic cultural artifact is also evident in his sculptures.
