Sheri Paisley (Bakes’) paintings explore light and atmospheric motion in nature, as well as simultaneously layering the landscape and our internal translation of what the eye perceives. She uses small, open brushstrokes to create movement and a luminous quality in her work, often abstracting landscapes with a blending of foreground and background.
