Shar Coulson's Paintings on View at the International Museum of Surgical Science

Shar Coulson's exhibition NIGHT SIGHT: Illuminating the Mind’s Eye Through Darkness is on view at the International Museum of Surgical Sciences. The 22 paintings are based on the closed-eye visualizations Coulson experienced during her recovery from open heart surgery in 2021. Proceeds from the exhibition go to the RUSH Heart Center for Women.
Coulson was recently interviewed about the works by Marc Vitali of WTTW News. The exhibition was also reviewed by curator Susan Aurinko for Newcity Art. NIGHT SIGHT: Illuminating the Mind’s Eye Through Darkness is on display at the International Museum of Surgical Sciences until March 16.
