Works by Gallery Artists Feature in New Book by Pulp Design Studios

Fearless Design, Pulp Design Studios' first monograph released this month.

Works by Alden Mason and George Rodriguez feature alongside installations from Pulp Design Studios in their first monograph, Fearless Design. Released October 2026, the book showcases an extensive collection of the design studio's projects and installations over the years and even includes artwork by gallery artists, Alden Mason and George Rodriguez.

Alden Mason's acrylic on canvas painting, The Farmer's Wife.

The two pieces, Mason's The Farmer's Wife (1997, acrylic on canvas, 60 x 40 inches) and Rodriguez's La Cabra (2018, stoneware with glaze, 26 x 19.5 x 19 inches), feature in Pulp Design Studios' 1913 Laurelhurst Tudor home project. The installation incorporated artwork from the clients' existing collection to style their home. Although not featured in the book, Rodriguez's Rat and Pigeon Basket (2020, ceramic with glaze, 31 x 25 x 15 inches) sculpture also makes an appearance in the installation. The complete project by Pulp is linked below.

George Rodriguez's stoneware with glaze sculpture, La Cabra.

In addition to featuring in Fearless Design, the installation previously featured in Portrait Magazine's Volume 62, Seattle edition. Links to view the Laurelhurst Tudor project as well as view additional work by Alden Mason and George Rodriguez are available below.
