"Yaphet Kotto. Mt. Rainier, WA, 1981. A charming guy. This was for WNET magazine out of New York, and he didn't want me to make him look mean. The picture they used in the magazine, he was actually smiling. But this is a much better picture. I mean, he was in Homicide, Life on the StreetAlien. He was Doctor Kananga from the James Bond movie. I could have photographed him in his backyard, but he wanted to go to Mt. Rainier. Afterwards, we went to a bar up there and he drank Courvoisier." - Bob Peterson
