Cameron Anne Mason came to fiber art through another passion, performance and installation art. She has since become an expert in a multitude of textile processes, from dyeing techniques to surface treatments and intricate stitching. Taking inspiration from her process of ice-dyeing, the sculptures showcased in Mason's The Fabric of Memory pay homage to the disappearing glaciers of Washington state.

Materials: cottons, rayon/silk velvet, wool yarn, interfacing, rayon, cotton, and polyester threads.

Surface design techniques: ice gravity dye, monotype, low-water immersion dyeing.
