Seeds and Weeds #4
The work in this exhibition is based on nature the way I experience it.
Landscapes I have visited, flowers I grow in my garden, lines and shapes I have seen, it is all mixed and forms my abstractions.
Pages from vintage magazines I have inherited from my grandfather’s bookstore in Northern Norway are used as collage material, together with Nepalese papers, paints and inks.
Through my work I find a balance in these unsettling times. - Eva Isaksen
The work is framed in a light wood frame with a total dimension of 35 x 27 inches.
Seeds and Weeds #4 is currently on view at the National Nordic Museum in Seattle, WA as part of Isaksen's Shapes for Fall exhibition.
