Cody Cobb, House of the Sun, UV print on Dibond, 54 x 72 inches

Dawn breaks over Haleakalā's crater on the Hawaiian island of Maui, painting its volcanic cinder cones in surreal shades of red and pink while clouds drift like an ocean below the summit. In the distance, the summits of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa on the island of Hawai’i bask in the first light of the day. - Cody Cobb

Reuben Wu, XT1876, archival pigment print with UV laminate, 22 x 29.5 inches

A circle of light hovers over the vast expanse of Salar de Uyuni as night descends. The luminous glow casts long shadows across the crystalline lake bed, merging light and land to reveal new dimensions. Created in Bolivia in 2019, ‘XT1876’ is part of my ‘Field of Infinity’ series, employing light-carrying drones and other experimental techniques to reimagine the familiar and transform the remote. - Reuben Wu
