Red Window
This painting begins a new interplay between the abstract and figurative elements in my work. Instead of being embedded into the abstraction, the floral elements are placed behind, with a barrier between them and the viewer. Despite this obscuration, they exert a powerful force in the painting. This is the first of many in an upcoming series. - Ilana Zweschi
