Newcity Lit: Everything You Need to Know About Frogs: A Review of “Frog Day” by Marty Crump
Patrick Roberts of Newcity Lit reviews Tony Angell's upcoming collaborative book with herpetologist Marty Crump, Frog Day: A Story of 24 Hours and 24 Amphibian Lives. Published by the University of Chicago Press, Frog Day: A Story of 24 Hours and 24 Amphibian Lives, is a continuation of their Earth Day series. The first book in the series, Bird Day: A Story of 24 Hours and 24 Avian Lives, was released last fall and also illustrated by Angell. Angell's charming illustrations accompany descriptions of the daily lives of amphibians around the globe. Angell will give an artist talk and sign copies of the book in gallery on Saturday, October 12 at 2 pm. Signed books will be available for local pick-up at the gallery or delivery after its release in October.
